Description:
- Full time internship in a startup based in Paris
- 2-6 months.
*About ComparaBUS* ComparaBUS is the 1st metasearch engine for long-distance buses in France; but also compares trains, flights and carpooling offers in Europe. Every month, the startup helps several hundreds of thousands of travelers to find the cheapest or more convenient trip. To support our growth, we are looking for a PHP developer.
*Our stack*
- Front-end : javascript; Backbone.js; webpack; css/less
- Back-end: PHP 7.2; Composer; Symfony 4.1
*Responsibilities*
- Adding new bus carriers
- Scraping websites to extract prices and schedules
- Integrating API
- Design and code new features and enhancements such as new UI; improving our search engine, internal tool...
- Collaborate on finding and fixing bugs
- Improve unit test coverage
- Assist in deploying code to test and production servers
*Requirements*
- Completed or working towards a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
- Strong programming skills in PHP (Object Oriented) and Symfony
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Basic skills in CSS and Javascript
- Business communication in English or French or Spanish. The common team language is English

- Internship agreement needed with school
- Salary : ~577€ (26,25€ / day) + 50% travel pass + Erasmus+ grant (Erasmus grant only for European/Turk citizen) - Place : Paris
