Description: Internship Opportunity: Communications Intern Duration: 6 months Start Date: As soon as possible Working modalities: full time (35 h per week), hybrid, flexible hours Location: Brussels, Belgium About Transparency International Belgium: Transparency International Belgium (TIB) is a non-profit organization dedicated to combating corruption and promoting transparency, accountability, and integrity in public and private sectors. We work towards creating a society where citizens can trust their leaders and institutions, fostering good governance and accountability. We are a small but motivated team committed to growing TIB and expanding the impact of our fight against corruption. Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Communications Intern to support our team in implementing our communication strategy and ensuring our website remains informative and up-to-date. This internship is a great opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about TI values and has a keen interest in communications, digital media, and content management. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in developing and implementing our communication strategy to promote TIB's initiatives and campaigns. • Create and edit content for our website, ensuring it’s engaging, accurate, and tailored to our audience. • Regularly update and maintain the organization’s website, including uploading reports, articles, and multimedia content. • Monitor and analyze website traffic and user engagement, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement. • Support the preparation of communication materials such as newsletters, social media posts, and press releases. • Collaborate with team members on various projects, contributing innovative ideas to enhance outreach efforts. • Engage with our audience through social media platforms, helping to promote our mission and activities. • Assist in organizing events and initiatives that further our mission of combating corruption. Qualifications: • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field. • Fluent in French and/or Dutch; proficiency in English. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Familiarity with web content management systems (e.g., WordPress), social media platforms, and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite). • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively in a team environment. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
